What is the GenC India Program?

Analyst Trainee

Candidates who graduated in 2025 or will be graduating in 2026 with a three-year full-time undergraduate degree (BCA, BSc, BA, BCom, BBA, BVoc, BMS, etc.) are eligible to apply.

Here’s a simple overview of how your application process will look like. Please note that the process can vary depending on the role. We recommend you read the job posting thoroughly to increase your chances of success.

Step 1: Your application

To get started, apply to an open position through the campus recruitment drive at your college or to the open positions listed on this page.

Step 2: Initial screening

We will screen your application to assess whether you align with the role you’ve applied for. If shortlisted, we will reach out to you via your placement officer or registered email ID with the next steps.

Step 3: Assessment

Depending on the role, you may be required to take one or more assessments. These typically evaluate your communication skills, aptitude, and—if applicable—technical skills for technical roles.

Step 4: Interview

Once you clear the assessments, you will be invited for an interview with our team. The interview may be conducted virtually or in person, and you will receive the relevant details as you progress through the hiring process.

Step 5: Result

After the interviews are complete, we will share the results either with the placement officer (for campus hiring) or directly with you (for off-campus hiring).

How do I know my application status?

All communications will be sent to the registered email address in Superset. Applicants can check their status on the Superset platform.

When will I be called for the interview?

You’ll receive an email to the primary email ID submitted in the application form about the assessment/interview process once the application window is closed.

I attended an interview a long time ago and have not received any further updates.

Interview results will be published as per Cognizant’s hiring process. Please be patient and keep a tab on your application status in the platform/mailbox.

I got a confirmation email that I have been selected for Cognizant but have not received any further updates.

All selected candidates will be invited to join Cognizant based on business demand throughout the year. Therefore, each candidate is assigned a different date/month/year of joining. Please check your status on the application platform or check with your placement officer.
